Company NewsOn February 18, CCTV's News Live program featured the construction progress of Shenghong's aramid fiber industrial park project.
According to CCTV reports, the aramid industrial park project in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, with a total investment of 15.8 billion yuan, has completed its first-phase construction and is expected to officially commence production next month. The project has been included in Jiangsu Province’s Key Private Investment Projects Catalog, granting it the same preferential treatment as major provincial projects in terms of land use and environmental approvals. Relevant government departments hold monthly coordination meetings to promptly resolve any issues and ensure the project progresses smoothly.

Shenghong Holding Group Chairman Miao Hangen stated in an interview, "Green and low-carbon initiatives as well as new materials represent promising development directions. Shenghong will continue to increase investments in R&D and new technology promotion to strengthen our industrial chain. We are fully confident about future development prospects."

Shenghong Aramid Industrial Park is dedicated to establishing a world-class aramid new materials base that integrates R&D, production and sales across the entire industrial chain from aramid raw materials to aramid fibers and composite materials. The park has completed construction of China's largest single-line production facilities - a 5,000-ton annual para-aramid fiber project and a 60,000-ton annual phenylenediamine project (Phase I), which are currently undergoing trial production tests and will commence official operation soon. Meanwhile, Phase II projects for meta-aramid and downstream high-end composites have begun planning and construction. All planned projects are expected to be fully completed within 2-3 years, at which point the industrial park will become one of the world's largest fully-integrated aramid production bases covering the complete industrial chain.
